Lauren Beischel

Lauren Beischel (Bourassa) is an experienced Family and Consumer Science Teacher with a career spanning over a decade in education. Currently employed at Hingham Public Schools since August 2014, Lauren teaches a diverse curriculum for grades 5-12, including Home and Career Skills, Foods and Nutrition, Interior Design, Nutrition, Financial Literacy, and Creative Living. Prior to this role, Lauren taught at Downsville Central School from September 2010 to June 2014. Lauren holds a Master's degree in Health Education from Kaplan University (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Consumer Sciences/Home Economics from SUNY Oneonta (2006-2010). Additionally, Lauren has professional experience in retail, having worked at Bob's Stores as a Front End Key from August 2005 to August 2010.
