Stephen Jenks has worked in the technology field for over 30 years. Stephen began their career in 1987 as an Engineering Specialist at Northrop Grumman, where they developed advanced avionics and medical systems. In 2001, they joined UC Irvine as an Assistant Professor, where they researched topics such as micro-architecture of cache management mechanisms to enhance multi-core processors, parallel computer data management, high-resolution tiled display systems, and thread migration to exploit locality. Stephen also co-designed the Computer Science and Engineering degree program and taught courses such as computer architecture, operating systems, microcontroller programming and interfacing, parallel computing, and senior design. Since 2008, they have been Chief Scientist at Hiperwall, where they develop advanced technology to enable easy management of and data delivery to tiled display walls (video walls). Stephen also manages product development and leads a dev team of 3 Ph. D.
Stephen Jenks holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
