Julie Jenkins

Julie Jenkins, CPL has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Julie currently holds the position of Vice President at JTJ Capital, LLC since May 2020. Julie is also an Advisory Board Member at Cinco Energy Management Group, LLC, starting from March 2021.

Previously, Julie worked at HighPoint Resources as the Vice President of Land and Regulatory from February 2019 to May 2020. In this role, they led a team of 20+ land professionals and was responsible for securing oil and gas leases, negotiating contracts, managing land records, and representing the company in legal proceedings and regulatory interactions.

Before joining HighPoint Resources, Julie served as the Senior Director of Land at Bill Barrett Corporation from May 2017 to March 2018. During their tenure, they managed a team of land professionals and facilitated the merger transition with Fifth Creek Operating Company to form HighPoint Resources.

Julie's career also includes roles at Noble Energy as a Land Manager from November 2009 to May 2017. Julie gained experience in independent consulting as a Co-Owner of Jenkins Construction Services LLC from July 2001 to November 2009. Prior to that, they held positions at Aviva, Inc. and Kerr McGee Oil & Gas Corp as a Land Manager and a Consulting Land Negotiator respectively.

Julie began their career as a Senior Land Negotiator at AMOCO PRODUCTION CO in 1985. Julie worked in multiple basins across several states, gaining expertise in contract negotiation and providing expert testimony at regulatory agencies. Before that, they worked as an Independent Field Lease Broker at Robert E. McKinley, Inc.

Julie Jenkins, CPL has a B.S. degree in Petroleum Land Management from Louisiana State University. Julie also attended O. Perry Walker but did not obtain a degree from there. Additionally, Julie has a certification as a Certified Professional Landman from the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL).
