Ben Yaco

Ben Yaco is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in engineering leadership and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Hippo Insurance since November 2019, Yaco previously held the position of Head of Engineering at Sheltr until its acquisition by Hippo. With notable roles such as CTO at Recharge Labs and Chief Technology Officer at SeeTheSEEN, Yaco has successfully collaborated on application design, managed engineering teams, and built core applications and infrastructure. Yaco's career also includes significant contributions to organizations like FANDOM and Anthem Wares, showcasing a diverse skill set in software engineering, project management, and product design, all underpinned by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences from James Madison University.
