Desire de Leon (Dez)

Dez De Leon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career at NuPlasma in 2017 as a Laboratory Lead, Medical Assistant, and OSHA Control representative. They managed a team, served as a liaison for regulatory certifications, and implemented safety policies and procedures. In 2020, they transitioned to the McNutt Law Firm as a Legal Assistant Paralegal, leading a team and developing a file management training system. Currently, Dez is working at Hippo Insurance, where they started as a Customer Support Coordinator and quickly advanced to a Licensed Customer Support Representative. They then took on the role of Interim Team Lead, where they aided in candidate interviews, conducted agent evaluations, and helped identify workflow issues.

Desire (Dez) De Leon began their education journey in 2018 at Austin Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in General Science. They completed this program in 2022. That same year, they enrolled at Texas A&M University-Central Texas, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. In addition to their formal education, Desire (Dez) De Leon has not obtained any specific certifications, such as a Notary Public certification from The Office of the Texas Secretary of State and a Property and Casualty Insurance License from the Texas Department of Insurance.
