Ronni Luftig

Ronni Luftig, FCAS, has a diverse work experience in the insurance and actuarial industry. Ronni is currently working at Hippo Insurance as a Pricing Actuary since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at The Hartford, where they held multiple roles including Actuarial Assistant - Commercial Auto/Property Reserving from April 2022 to June 2023, Actuarial Assistant - Small Commercial Segment from September 2021 to April 2022, and Actuarial Analyst from November 2020 to September 2021. Ronni also developed large data sets in MS Excel for management presentations.

Prior to their internships, Ronni worked as a First Year Interest Group Seminar Peer Instructor at Rutgers University from May 2016 to December 2016, where they assisted first-year students in their transition to college life.

Before pursuing their actuarial career, Ronni gained experience as a Statistical Analyst at Webbing Labs. In this position, they analyzed user statistics for a social media app, identified trends, and provided suggestions for improvement based on the data. Ronni also engaged with app users and gathered feedback.

Ronni's early work experience includes working as a Sleepaway Camp Counselor at Camp Louemma. In this role, they built a sense of community among groups of campers, served as a role model, organized activities, and resolved conflicts. Ronni also took on a leadership role as captain for the end-of-summer Color War games.

Ronni Luftig, FCAS, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018.
