Rafael Cárdenas

Rafael Cárdenas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Rafael is currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Hiro Systems since November 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Hiro Systems from August 2021 to November 2022. Prior to joining Hiro Systems, Rafael was a Co-Founder and CTO at Narrative Studio since January 2019. Rafael also worked at Cívica Digital as an Advisor from December 2018 onwards and served as their CTO from August 2016 to December 2018. Rafael was an Advisor at Bridgefy from June 2020 to January 2022. Rafael worked as a Tech Strategist at Danilo Design Group® from January 2020 to January 2021. Rafael gained valuable experience at Google, where they worked from September 2012 to August 2016. Rafael started as an Information Security Engineer and later became an iOS Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Prior to Google, they worked as a Chief Developer at OnixMedia from June 2008 to September 2012. Rafael began their career as a Web Developer at Danilo Black from June 2003 to May 2008.

Rafael Cárdenas attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained their high school diploma with a focus on the International Baccalaureate program. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2009, Rafael pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at the same institution.
