Sabby Anandan

Sabby Anandan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sabby started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant, where they developed investment banking products in coordination with onsite teams from Chicago. Sabby then worked as a Software Programmer at CAMO Technologies, Inc, where they led the design and prototyping of solutions for FedEx and served as a lead UI engineer for rich-internet applications.

Afterwards, Sabby joined FedEx as a Developer/Programmer Analyst, before moving on to Summa Technologies as a Technical Consultant. At Summa, they trained software engineers on clean code and lean methodologies, delivered modernization products, and facilitated the incremental delivery of business outcomes.

Sabby's next role was at Pivotal, where they held various positions including Sr. Product Manager, Staff Product Manager, and Principal Product Manager. Sabby led projects such as Spring XD and Spring Cloud Data Flow, collaborating with marketing, leadership, industry analysts, and engineering teams to develop product messaging and go-to-market strategies. Sabby also built a product-centered mindset within the distributed team and fostered closer relationships with customers and the open-source community.

Following their time at Pivotal, Sabby joined VMware as a Senior Product Line Manager. Sabby conceptualized the Streaming Runtime at Tanzu and chaired the open-source and enterprise product backlogs for the Dataflow ecosystem. Sabby was responsible for Product Led Event Stream Processing at Tanzu and the Spring's commercial strategy.

Most recently, Sabby Anandan became the Director of Product at Hiro Systems in 2022.

Sabby Anandan completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical & Electronics from the University of Madras, graduating in 2004. From 2011 to 2013, Sabby Anandan pursued a Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSIT) from Carnegie Mellon University.
