Chris Douglas

Chris Douglas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in claims operations and management within the insurance industry. Currently serving as Head of Claims Operations at Hiscox since September 2021, Chris previously held key roles at Chubb, including Operations Manager for Technical Services & Governance and Claims Vendor Operations Manager, from January 2019 to September 2021. Chris's career includes significant positions at QBE European Operations, where roles included Assistant Claims Manager and Senior Rehabilitation Consultant. Additional experience includes a Lead Specialist Advisor position at WorkDirections UK Ltd, and as an Occupational Health Physiotherapist at Nestle. Chris holds a BSc (1st Class Honours) in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham, a PGDip with Distinction in Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
