Renata Horvatek

Renata Horvatek, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Scholar Advocacy at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund since November 2023. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Career Education and Advising at Occidental College and Assistant Director of Student Engagement at the University of California, Los Angeles. Renata's experience also encompasses serving as the International Internships and Research Abroad Adviser and Postdoctoral Associate at Penn State University. The academic background includes a Ph.D. in Education Theory and Policy & Comparative and International Education from Penn State University, along with a Certificate in Higher Education Administration and Policy, and an M.A. in Philosophy and Comparative Literature from the University of Zagreb.
