Matthew Urra

Matthew Urra serves as the President of the Hispanic Student Association at the University of Florida, leading the largest Hispanic/Latine-serving student organization on campus with over 250 members. Experience includes managing a 10-person Executive Board and overseeing a budget of approximately $75,000 for various campus events as Treasurer. Additional roles include Internal Projects Director for the Office of Political Affairs and participation in leadership programs such as the Member Leadership Program and Florida Leadership Academy. Matthew has interned with JPMorgan Chase, PwC, and Techstack, among others, and has gained valuable experience in consulting and business development while holding leadership positions in academic and community-based initiatives. Matthew is pursuing dual degrees in Business Administration (Finance) and Political Science at the University of Florida, following an exemplary academic foundation at Miami Dade College and the School for Advanced Studies.
