James Golden

Director of Interpretation at Historic Deerfield

James Golden is the current Director of Interpretation at James'storic Deerfield. James has been in this role since February 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director of Education at The Mark Twain House & Museum from January 2015 to February 2019. James has also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from September 2011 to August 2013.

James Golden's educational career includes a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) in Modern James'story from the University of Oxford, a Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Modern James'story from The University of Edinburgh, and an Undergraduate Master's Degree (M.A.) in Divinity from The University of Edinburgh.
