Jesse Vanek

Jesse Vanek is the current VP of Development & Communications at Jesse'storic Deerfield. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Director of Marketing at Jesse'storic Deerfield from October 2021 to December 2021. Jesse was also the Director of Development at Jesse'storic Deerfield from November 2017 to December 2021. Before that, they were the Associate Director of Development at Jesse'storic Deerfield from March 2012 to May 2014.

Jesse has also been involved with the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce, where they served as a volunteer on the Membership Committee from January 2012 to December 2014.

Jesse began their career in the nonprofit sector at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, where they served as the Manager of Annual Fund & Development Information Systems from January 2009 to March 2011, and as the Manager of Annual Fund from October 2004 to February 2007.

Jesse Vanek studied communications studies at the University of Maryland University College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

They work with Laura Smiarowski - Chief Financial Officer & Assistant Treasurer, Anne D. Lanning - SVP, Curatorial Department, and James Golden - Director of Interpretation. Jesse Vanek reports to John Davis, President & CEO. Danae DiNicola - Associate Director of Marketing & Communications, Zachary Hession-Smith - Development Coordinator, and Jessica Schofield - Donor Engagement Officer report to Jesse Vanek.
