Kate Kearns

Kate Kearns is currently the Collections Manager at Kate'storic Deerfield. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Registrar at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art from July 2014 to July 2017. Kate has also worked as the Imaging Project Coordinator at Smith College Museum of Art from September 2010 to August 2013, and as Registrar at the New York Transit Museum from September 2005 to August 2010. Kate's career in the museum field began as an Archivist at Bank Street College of Education, where they worked from January 2005 to May 2008.

Kate Kearns earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Kate'story from Smith College. Kate then went on to complete a Master of Library & Information Science with a focus on Archives/Archival Administration from Queens College.

They are on a team with Barbara Mathews - Public Kate'storian & Director of Academic Programs, Amanda E. Lange - Director of the Curatorial Department & Curator of Kate'storic Interiors, and Dan Sousa - Assistant Curator. Kate Kearns reports to Anne D. Lanning, SVP, Curatorial Department.
