Human Resources Manager at Historic Royal Palaces

Adam Bourn has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Adam began their career in 2004 as a Deputy Purser (Food and Beverage) at P&O Cruises and then moved on to become a Food & Beverage Manager at Accor in 2007. From 2008 to 2013, Adam worked at the runnymede-on-thames where they held the position of Human Resources Officer. During this time, they gained experience in advising line managers on employee relations issues, coordinating recruitment processes, and managing staff accommodation facilities, among other responsibilities. In 2013, Adam joined Historic Royal Palaces where they initially worked as an HR Advisor. In this role, they provided guidance on employee relations issues, designed recruitment processes, and contributed to reducing sickness absence levels. Adam later transitioned to the position of Resourcing Manager and then Human Resources Manager, where they continued to advise on employee relations issues, managed recruitment processes, and supported the implementation of an e-recruitment system. At Hillsborough Castle, Adam supported the business plan and resourcing activity during its go-live launch.

From 2011 to 2016, Adam Bourn pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management (CIPD) from the CIPD with MOL Flexible Learning.
