Lucy Barnes

Lucy Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Lucy is currently working as a Corporate Partnerships Manager at Historic Royal Palaces, where they began in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Superbloom Account Manager at the same company from December 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Historic Royal Palaces, Lucy worked at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where they held the position of Head of Venue Hire from September 2020 to September 2021. Lucy also served as the Venue Hire Manager from July 2018 to September 2020, overseeing the sales and operations of private hire events.

Lucy's previous experience includes working at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity as a Special Event Manager from May 2017 to July 2018. Before that, they held the roles of Special Events Executive from June 2015 to May 2017 and Special Events Administrator from March 2014 to June 2015.

At the beginning of their career, Lucy worked as a Corporate Partnerships Intern and Special Events Intern at the British Heart Foundation from December 2013 to February 2014, and October 2013 to December 2013, respectively. Lucy also served as a Careers and Employability Representative at Cardiff University from September 2012 to April 2013.

Lucy Barnes attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History. In March 2019, they received a certification as a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.
