Thomas Keates-Miles has a diverse work experience that spans different roles and industries. Thomas began their career as a Store Operations employee at Marks and Spencer in 2005. Thomas then transitioned to the role of Junior Graphic Designer at Bedford Borough Council in 2008. In 2010, they joined The National Gallery as a Graphic Designer, where they worked until 2012. Thomas then worked as a Graphic Designer for the Royal Borough of Greenwich from 2012 to 2013. Finally, they joined Historic Royal Palaces in 2014 as a Senior Graphic Designer.

Thomas Keates-Miles began their education by attending Alleyn's School from 1993 to 1998. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at the University of the Arts London from 2002 to 2005. In 2013, they attended Westminster Kingsway College, where they obtained a Culinary Diploma in Culinary Arts. Thomas furthered their education in the beverage industry at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, completing a Level 2 course in 2015 and a Level 3 course in 2016, specializing in Wine and Spirits.
