Rosieanna LaFond has extensive experience working with youth and individuals with disabilities in various educational and recreational settings. Currently employed as a Special Education Assistant at Minneapolis Public Schools since February 2015, Rosieanna creates and administers online learning lessons for K-4 students, collaborating with diverse populations. Additionally, Rosieanna serves as a Program Lead at YMCA of the North and as an Usher at Hennepin Theatre Trust, where responsibilities include assisting patrons and problem-solving. Previous roles encompass a Camp Program Lead at Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, a Bowling Coach for Adaptive Recreation Learning Exchange, and program-related positions within Girl Scouts, emphasizing leadership, curriculum development, and group facilitation. Rosieanna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Independent Study with a focus on Leadership and Advocacy for Youth and People with Disabilities from Metro State University and a Certificate in Special Education from Minneapolis College.
