David Kaffenberger

David Kaffenberger has a strong background in information technology and security. David started their career as a Special Projects Coordinator at Stephens Inc., where they managed server and network support for the trading desk and successfully handled multiple high-value projects. David then joined The Stephens Group as Director of Information Technology, where they focused on administration, maintenance, and support of securities trading servers and workstations. David also worked on telecom equipment configuration and managed network support. Currently, they are working as the Chief Security Officer at Historic Tours of America, where they oversee the organization's security posture, manages the departmental budget, and handles SaaS providers for various platforms. Prior to their current role, they served as an IT Manager at the same company, managing a geographically dispersed team and migrating legacy applications to SaaS platforms.

David Kaffenberger completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Western Governors University in 2022. Prior to that, they attended Northern Kentucky University in 1995-1996, where they pursued Computer and Information Sciences. From 1993 to 1995, they attended Central Texas College, but the field of study is unspecified. David also obtained various certifications, including Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) and CompTIA PenTest+ in 2022, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) in 2022, CompTIA A+ in 2021, ITIL Foundation Level in 2021, CompTIA Security+ in 2021, and CompTIA Network+ in 2020.
