Kathleen Durham

Kathleen Durham is an experienced architectural historian currently working at Historical Research Associates, Inc. since August 2016. Previously, Kathleen served as a member of the Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board from October 2015 to February 2020, where oversight included landmark designation and design review projects such as the Space Needle and Showbox Theater. Additionally, Kathleen was a member of the Ballard Avenue Landmark District Board from 2009 to June 2015, governing design reviews in that historic district. Earlier in their career, Kathleen worked as a Historic Preservation Planner for the Philadelphia Historical Commission from 2002 to 2004, and as Assistant to the Director at the Boston Preservation Alliance in 1999-2000. Academic qualifications include a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning in Historic Preservation Planning from The University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Utah.
