Kathryn M. Burk-Hise

Kathryn M. Burk-Hise is an experienced architectural historian currently working at Historical Research Associates, Inc. since July 2016. Prior to this role, Kathryn served as the Executive Coordinator for Spokane Preservation Advocates from May 2010 to July 2016 and operated Burk Historic Preservation Consulting from December 2008 to July 2016. Experience also includes an internship at the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office in 2006 and a position as Operations Manager at Lafranchi Architecture & Development from February 2002 to August 2005. Kathryn holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Oregon (2005-2008), a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Cultural Anthropology from Sonoma State University (2002-2005), and an Associate’s Degree in History and Science from Santa Rosa Junior College (1996-2002). Additionally, educational background includes attending St. Vincent's High School from 1975 to 1978.
