Paul Hoffman

Paul Hoffman is an Architectural Historian with extensive experience in historic preservation and research. Currently employed at RK&K since January 2023, Hoffman previously served in similar roles at New South Associates, Inc. and the Metro Historic Zoning Commission. An accomplished Project Manager at Republic Historic Preservation from April 2009 to September 2013, Hoffman led teams on various preservation initiatives. Early career experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at Middle Tennessee State University, where research focused on historic properties. Hoffman also has a strong foundation in leadership from service in the U.S. Navy, where management of personnel and maintenance operations were key responsibilities. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public History from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Vanderbilt University.
