Nicholas Mead

Nicholas Mead is an experienced archaeologist with a diverse background in archaeological research and services. Currently serving as an archaeologist at Historical Research Associates, Inc. since July 2022, Nicholas also operates Mead Archaeological Services as a sole proprietor since March 2020. Additional roles include archaeological contractor for survey and monitoring at ICF and Tierra Right of Way Services since November 2019, and archaeological field technician at North Wind Group since October 2019. Previous positions include working as an archaeologist for Environmental Science Associates and Cardno, as well as conducting archaeological surveys for the United States Forest Service at The Great Basin Institute. Nicholas holds a Master of Arts in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Southampton, completed between 2017 and 2018.
