Sarah Hamilton

Sarah Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sarah currently holds the position of Editor in Chief at the Historical Society of Michigan since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Student Support Specialist at Lansing Community College from June 2022 to May 2023.

Sarah also served as an Operations Coordinator at the Writing Center @ MSU from August 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Processing Clerk at Delta Township District Library from February 2018 to August 2021.

Sarah gained valuable experience as an Office Assistant at Gerry's Tune Up and Brakes from June 2014 to March 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Copywriter and Publicity Intern at Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company, respectively from August 2017 to January 2018 and from January 2017 to August 2017.

Sarah's early career included roles such as a Peer Writing Consultant at Aquinas College Writing Center from January 2016 to December 2017, and as a Technical Services Student Assistant at Grace Hauenstein Library from January 2015 to December 2017.

Sarah Hamilton earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature and Writing from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids from 2014 to 2017. Sarah then pursued their Masters in Critical Studies in Literacy and Pedagogy with a focus on Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies at Michigan State University from 2020 to 2022.
