Jon Voss

Jon Voss is an experienced Senior Strategist at Shift Collective, working since August 2020, and has served as the Strategic Partnerships Director at Historypin since June 2011. Historypin focuses on community engagement through local history and innovative technology, collaborating with libraries, archives, and museums. Voss previously held the role of Executive Director at Shift and co-founded the International Linked Open Data in Libraries, Archives, and Museums Summit, promoting the use of open data in cultural heritage. Additionally, Voss founded jumpSLIDE networks, an independent technology consultancy, and served as the Director of Information Technology at the San Francisco Zen Center. Voss's career also includes roles as Project Manager at Trillium Asset Management Corporation and Economic Action Coordinator for the Milarepa Fund. Educational credentials include a BA in Religion from Kalamazoo College and a College Year in Nepal focusing on Tibetan Buddhism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
