Tom Crowley

Tom Crowley has a diverse work experience in the medical device industry. Tom started their career in 1993 at Medtronic, where they served as a Senior Development Manager and contributed to the development of improved patient therapy controllers and physicians' care systems. Tom also played a key role in the design of a patient-controlled analgesia product for an implanted infusion pump.

In 2003, Tom joined CVRx, Inc as an R&D specialist. Tom successfully managed the development of a medical device system for hypertension treatment, ensuring that the system met all specifications and had no field failures during clinical trials.

From 2008 to 2013, Tom worked at Apnex Medical, Inc. Tom first served as a Field Clinical Director, evaluating potential clinical sites for enrollment in clinical trials. Later, they became an R&D/Engineering Director, leading Voice of the Customer activities and defining product changes for a therapy and implanted system aimed at reducing respiratory obstruction.

Before joining HistoSonics, Inc in 2017 as a Senior Director of R&D, Tom spent four years at Medtronic MITG: Early Technologies. There, they held the position of Director of R&D, responsible for developing a new platform for lung navigation that integrated new technologies and sensors to provide accurate guidance to lesions in the lung.

Overall, Tom Crowley has a strong background in research and development, with a track record of developing innovative medical devices and systems in collaboration with key opinion leaders and experts in the field.

Tom Crowley received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
