Yifan Tang

Yifan Tang is a seasoned expert in electrical engineering with extensive experience in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. Currently serving as a Board Director and Chief Technical Advisor at Volektra and HEVO, Yifan Tang is involved in advancing magnet-free motor systems and wireless EV charging technologies. As the Founder and Managing Director of Paly Ventures, Yifan Tang focuses on innovation in EV, AI, and energy sectors. Previously, Yifan Tang held leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer at Volta Charging and CTO at SERES EV, while also contributing to several startups and projects aimed at battery technology and autonomous driving. Yifan Tang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and has educated at notable institutions including Tsinghua University and Stanford University.
