Ryan Collison

Ryan Collison is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Capital America, a subsidiary of Hitachi Capital Corporation of Tokyo. Based in Norwalk, CT, Hitachi Capital America offers transportation and commercial financing solutions in both the US and Canada.

Ryan joined Hitachi Capital America in September 2005 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In 2009, he was appointed Senior Vice President, Operations and Chief Credit Officer and in 2015, Ryan was named President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Hitachi, Ryan held a number of technology and business development positions at GE Capital Vendor Financial Services and Commercial Finance including Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President of E-business, and Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Ryan has a BA degree in mathematics and economics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and an MBA from Columbia University in New York, NY.
