Vivek Seshadri

Vivek Seshadri is currently the Director of Business Finance at Hitachi Payment Services. Prior to this, they were the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at U GRO Capital from September 2018 to January 2021. Vivek was a part of the founding team and reported directly to the CEO and Chairman. Some of their responsibilities included equity/alternate debt raise, managing private and public market investors, leading strategic project implementations, budgeting, and performance management. Vivek also built the digital partnerships vertical and evaluated multiple inorganic opportunities in the banking and financial services space. In September 2018, they led the purchase of the SME lending business of Avanse Financial Services, a Warburg Pincus company.

Prior to U GRO Capital, Vivek worked as an Associate in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan from July 2015 to March 2016. Vivek then transitioned to Avendus Capital where they worked as Vice President from March 2016 to September 2018 and Associate Vice President from December 2010 to June 2015. Vivek started their career as an Analyst in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs from April 2010 to December 2010.

Vivek Seshadri has a PGDBM from XLRI Jamshedpur in Finance. Vivek is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Level 3 from the CFA Institute in Asset Management, Corporate Finance, and Alternate Investments. Additionally, they have their Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals in Risk Management. Finally, they have their BE from the University of Mumbai in Electronics & Telecommunication.
