Jaspaul Chahal

Jaspaul Chahal is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Big Data and Data Security, currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer (Data) at Hitachi Vantara since February 2022. Prior to this role, Jaspaul held positions including Principal Big Data Engineer (Architect) at Dataguise from December 2010 to December 2021, where responsibilities encompassed product architecture and technologies. Additional experience includes several leadership and engineering roles at Miri InfoTech, where contributions were made to client Dataguise, as well as earlier positions in software development at Daata Tech and Kapcom Technologies. Jaspaul holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Punjabi University, earned between 2002 and 2005, and possesses expertise in technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, and various data protection methods.
