Tom Hylas

Tom Hylas is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in technology and business development. Currently serving as a Sales Manager at Hitachi since March 2018, Hylas leads sales initiatives for the 3D Motion Analytics Platform, specializing in intelligent IoT sensor solutions across various sectors including retail, manufacturing, and healthcare. Previously, Hylas held roles as a Sales and Business Development Manager and Sales Specialist at Hitachi, focusing on Rich Content Storage Management and Digital Preservation, respectively. Hylas has also contributed to Symantec as the Principal Global Partner Sales Manager, overseeing strategic partnerships and developing profitable agreements, and at VERITAS Software, where significant revenue growth was achieved. Hylas’ career began at Solid Systems Inc. as Regional Sales Director, establishing the company as a leading IT services vendor. Hylas holds a BSIT degree in Engineering and Business Discipline from San Diego State University.
