Venu Nuguri

Venu Nuguri is a Region Head at Hitachi Energy. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director and CEO of India and Head of South Asia Region for ABB Power Grids. Venu has also worked as a Key account Manager for one of the largest utility customers in southern India. Venu has over 25 years of experience in the power sector. Venu started their career as an Engineer - Operations with GEC Alstom India in 1988 and rose to become the Sr. Vice President & Country Head Sales & Marketing for ABB in India by 1995.

Venu Nuguri completed a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal. Venu then went on to complete a Management program from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. After that, they completed a Leadership Development Program from Indian School of Business. Finally, they completed a SLDP from IMD.

Venu Nuguri reports to Claudio Facchin, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Niklas Persson - Managing Director of Business Unit Grid Integration, Jinquan Zhang - Region Head, Greater China, and Anthony Allard - Region Head, North America.
