Betsy Chestnut

Betsy Chestnut currently serves as the Director of Finance, Accounting, and Statutory Reporting at Hitachi Rail since December 2024. Prior to this role, Betsy worked at Industrial Scientific Corporation from June 2001 to December 2024 as the Global Corporate Controller, overseeing the preparation of global consolidated financial statements and ensuring compliance with SOX, tax regulations, and US GAAP. Earlier in Betsy's career, from September 1996 to June 2001, Betsy held the position of Accounting and HR Manager at Red Valve Company, Inc., managing accounting functions and payroll. Betsy holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from Robert Morris University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from La Roche University.
