Domenico Fortinguerra has a diverse work experience in project management and program management roles. Domenico started their career as a Project Manager at GE Oil & Gas, where they managed service activities for Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) projects in Oman and Yemen. Domenico also played a key role in implementing ERP Oracle procedures in the Middle East.
Domenico then joined Ansaldo STS A Hitachi Group Company as a Senior Project Manager, where they managed a local and global team to deliver E/M systems for the Metro Thessaloniki project. Domenico also served as Deputy General Project Manager for a Joint Venture.
Afterward, Domenico worked as a Branch Manager at Hitachi Rail, overseeing branch operations, staff management, customer relations, and cost optimization.
Currently, they are employed by Hitachi Rail as the Principal Program Manager and Program Director for the HART project. Domenico is responsible for budget management, client relationships, KPI monitoring, customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and milestone achievement. Domenico oversees diverse project activities, including design and build, operations and maintenance, and their associated components.
Throughout their career, Domenico has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
Domenico Fortinguerra received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Liceo Scientifico in 1989. Domenico then pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at invalid26551755 from 1994 to 2003, where they achieved a degree of 107/110. In 2004, Domenico obtained a master's degree in environmental energy studies from Sapienza Università di Roma. In 2015, they attended Columbia Business School and completed a program in Finance and Accounting for the Nonfinancial Executive. Additionally, Domenico has obtained several certifications, including SME- Subject Matter Expert for Project MANAGEMENT from Finmeccanica Faculty in 2013, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2010, and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from General Electric in 2008.
