Matteo Calugi

Matteo Calugi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Matteo started their career with an internship at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in 2014. Matteo then joined Hitachi Rail in 2016, initially as an intern in the Procurement Office. Over the years, they moved up the ranks and held various positions such as Commodity Manager, Global Category Manager, and Head of Procurement. Their responsibilities at Hitachi Rail included managing procurement for rolling stock, overseeing overall supply chain and materials procurement, and leading special projects.

Matteo Calugi earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Imperial College Business School from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Laurea Magistrale (LM) in Electronic and Communications Engineering from Università di Roma Tor Vergata from 2010 to 2014. Matteo also obtained a High School Diploma from Absarokee High School in Montana, United States of America in 2005. In addition, they have certifications including an Attestazione di qualità e di qualificazione professionale dei servizi from ADACI - Vetrina dell'Associazione Italiana di Acquisti e Supply Management in 2018 and an edX Verified Certificate for Super-Earths and Life from edX.
