Mike Scott

Mike Scott is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in senior roles across major corporations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of External Communications and Marketing at Hitachi Rail since September 2020, Mike is responsible for leading global communications and marketing initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of External Affairs at GE Digital, where Mike developed communications strategies to enhance the company's reputation in the Industrial IoT sector. Additional roles at GE include Communications Director positions in both GE Power and GE Digital Industrial, focusing on customer communications and strategic messaging. Mike's career began at Alstom, where significant contributions were made in communications and marketing across the UK, Ireland, and Australia/New Zealand. Mike holds a BSc in International Management with French from the University of Bath.
