Neil Briggs

Neil Briggs has over 30 years of experience in bid management and business development across various sectors, including rail and oil and gas. Currently serving as the Head of Bidding at Hitachi Rail Europe since August 2016, Neil oversees bid management teams and provides strategic guidance. Previous experience includes roles such as Projects Bid Director and Business Development Manager at Baker Hughes, where Neil led significant tender strategies and account management initiatives in the Gulf region. Earlier career positions at Baroid Ltd and other companies focused on engineering and project management in drilling and fluid systems. Neil holds a Master of Business Administration from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Sciences from The Open University.
