Emilie Fink has worked in a variety of industries throughout their career. In 2021, they began their role as Chief Engagement Officer at HitchPin, where they are responsible for building a community to "Buy. Sell. Hire." In 2010, they began working at Fink Bros Livestock as an owner, where they and their husband own 20 head of Hereford and Simmental cattle, primarily for the production of show cattle prospects. Additionally, they are a partner at Fink Farm where they raise purebred and crossbred show pigs that get exhibited by youth throughout the state and country. Also in 2010, Emilie began their role as Senior Director of Development at the Kansas State University Foundation. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at the Pennsylvania Beef Council as Director of Retail and Foodservice for the Northeast Beef Promotion Initiative, where they managed key relationships with retail and foodservice professionals along the I-95 corridor between Boston and Washington D.C. to increase consumer awareness and understanding of the nutritional benefits of beef in their diet. In 2006, they also worked as a Marketing Intern at Fort Dodge Animal Health, where they worked with marketing, sales and communication teams to develop and produce an over-the-counter catalog of all livestock and equine products. Additionally, they assisted technical staff with research and the creation of a whitepaper on Liverflukes and coordinated efforts for the development of a computer program to calculate water soluble antibiotic product requirements. In 2005, Emilie worked as an Intern at Certified Hereford Beef LLC, where they traveled the country for retail brand promotions and assisted with the design of re-branded sales decks and marketing materials. Emilie was also responsible for the organization and launch of the company's first retail labeling educational conference for national partners.
Emilie Fink attended Tulpehocken High School from 1999 to 2003 and then Kansas State University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Sciences and Industry. In 2017, they obtained the 2017 Reeher Prime Officer Award.
