Kurt Waldeland

Mr. Waldeland joined HitecVision in 2021 from the position as Principal at Hayfin Capital Management, a leading alternative asset management firm headquartered in London.

At Hayfin, Mr. Waldeland was a member of the firm’s Maritime Funds team. He was involved in all aspects of the investment process and has worked on a number of transactions in the energy sector, including Energy Infrastructure and offshore wind.

Prior to joining Hayfin, Mr. Waldeland spent more than three years as part of the Investment & Business Development team at Breakwater Capital/Celsius Shipping based in Copenhagen and Monaco.

Mr. Waldeland began his career as an equity research analyst at Arctic Securities, where he covered the maritime transportation industry.

Mr. Waldeland holds an MSc in Financial Economics from The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
