Jon Borgas

Jon Borgas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jon is currently working as a Product Manager at hitta.se since 2022. Prior to that, they were with EasyPark Group from 2017 to 2022, where they held two positions. Jon was a Product Manager & Business Developer, leading a team of developers and designers to enhance the user experience of parking-related products. Jon was also a Global Roll-Out Manager, responsible for the automation and expansion of parking-related cloud services.

From 2013 to 2017, Jon worked at Capgemini Invent as a Senior Management Consultant, specializing in strategy and transformation consulting. Their projects included cloud marketing strategy, IT strategy, and roadmap design, and IT service management implementation, among others.

Before that, they gained experience as a Master's Thesis Intern at SCA Hygiene Products in 2012 and as a Project Assistant at Göteborg Energi from February to August 2012. Additionally, Jon served as the Deputy Head of Office at Chalmers International Taiwan Office from July 2010 to July 2011.

Jon started their professional journey as a Student Ambassador at Chalmers University of Technology from 2008 to 2010.

Jon Borgas has a diverse education history. In 2010, they began their studies at Chalmers University of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management in 2010. During this time, they also took MBA courses in Chinese at National Chiao Tung University from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Jon pursued their interests in Chinese studies by attending Dalarna University, where they studied Chinese Studies until 2015. Additionally, they took courses in Chinese and China studies at the University of Gothenburg from 2011 to 2012.

Jon furthered their education at Chalmers University of Technology and earned a Master of Science degree in Management and Economics of Innovation from 2010 to 2012.

In 2019, Jon expanded their knowledge in a new field by studying Forestry and Wood Technology at Linnaeus University, which they pursued until 2021.

Recently, in 2021, Jon enrolled in Reforge to gain expertise in Product Management.

Alongside their formal education, Jon has obtained additional certifications. In 2015, they received the ITILv3 2011 Foundation certification from PEOPLECERT. Jon also obtained the HSK Level 3 certification from the Confucius Institute in 2014, demonstrating their proficiency in Chinese. Finally, in 2011, Jon obtained the TOCFL Beginner level certification from the Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency (SC-TOP).
