Native Android Lead Developer at Hive

Louis Pennachio has a diverse range of work experience, with a strong focus on mobile development. Louis is currently working at Hive as a Native Android developer. Prior to that, they worked at Symphony.com in the same role from December 2019 to December 2022.

Louis has also worked as a freelance developer for various companies. At DOCAPOST, they worked as a Fullstack developer from October 2018 to July 2019, where they transformed an electronic signature application from "proof of concept" to "production-ready". Louis'sresponsibilities included working on an Angular library project and several Angular projects based on that library.

As a freelance Native Android developer at Attestis, Louis developed an Android app and a web app from October 2017 to June 2018. The app aimed to assist people initiating constructions by protecting them from late objections from third parties.

Louis's first freelance mission was at Beepeers, where they worked as a Native iOS developer for a short period from July 2017 to October 2017. Louis upgraded an application for cashiers in supermarkets, making it compatible with the latest versions of bluetooth and wifi devices.

During their internship at Lucie Labs, Louis worked as a Native Android and iOS developer for six months. Louis developed a mobile SDK that allowed the control of an electronic module and interaction with a cloud platform.

Louis also worked on a final year project at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, where they built a solution for a geographer to make cartography with a drone. Louis worked on this project from October 2015 to March 2016.

Louis'sfirst internship was at STMicroelectronics, where they worked as an R&D engineer trainee in the Process Control department. Louis developed and integrated a program to monitor production machines to prevent failures.

In addition to their work experience, Louis co-organized the "Nuit de l'info" programming contest at Polytech Nice Sophia. The event gathered 3,000 students who took on challenges offered by various companies in one night.

Louis Pennachio pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Polytech'Nice-Sophia, which they completed between 2011 and 2016. Additionally, they participated in a one-year exchange program at the graduate school level in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Guelph from 2014 to 2015.
