Joost Loijens

Joost Loijens has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joost started their career in 1998 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Virginia Medical School. Joost then worked at GameSpy Industries as an RPG Genre Producer from 2000 to 2001, and later as a Network Director from 2002 to 2004. At IGN Entertainment, Joost served as a Production Director from 2004 to 2007, then as Director of Product Management and Design from 2007 to 2010, and finally as SEO Manager from 2010 to 2013. Joost joined Blizzard Entertainment in 2013 and held roles as an Online Analyst and later as a Senior Data Analyst until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Joost worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Volt. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Analytics at Hive Digital, Inc. since 2018.

Joost Loijens completed their B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph from 1988 to 1992. Joost then pursued further education and obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1992 to 1998.
