Growing up, Lisa played softball, soccer, field hockey and basketball. Sports gave her a sense of belonging and focus, something she hopes will become available to children all over the world who may not have the means, opportunity or access to try new things.
As a young kid Lisa wanted to be a marine biologist, and even though she still loves the ocean, these days she works as a physical education teacher, a massage therapist and is committed to being a strong role model and mom to her three kids.
