John Pracht

John Pracht has gained extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career. John is currently serving as the Director of Retail Sales NA at HIVERY since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SPINS as the Director of Retailer Partnerships from August 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining SPINS, John Pracht had a long tenure at NielsenIQ, where they held multiple positions. From September 2004 to June 2021, they served as the Vice President & Team Lead at NielsenIQ for Mars Petcare U.S. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President of Business Development & C-Store from December 2012 to July 2018, and the Retail Client Director role from June 2009 to December 2012.

John Pracht's earlier work experience includes roles at Ahold and Cadbury plc. At Ahold, they served as the Category Merchandiser Grocery from September 2003 to September 2004, and as the Space Management Director from November 2001 to September 2003. Prior to Ahold, they worked at Cadbury plc., where they held the positions of Business Solutions Sr. Analyst from March 1999 to November 2001 and Regional Account Manager from August 1998 to March 1999.

Throughout their career, John Pracht has demonstrated their abilities in sales, partnerships, team leadership, business development, and category management. John has achieved notable accomplishments such as growing desk portfolio shares, surpassing monthly budgets, maximizing vendor ROI, persuading category managers, developing web-based sales reports, and managing promotion budgets. Their expertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the retail industry.

John Pracht completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham between 1994 and 1997. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2005 to 2008.
