Anja Panjwani-Koerhuis

Anja Panjwani-Koerhuis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development, compliance, and gender integration within energy policies. Currently serving as the Senior Negotiations and Compliance Officer and Business Development Specialist at Hivos since October 2014, Anja coordinates business development efforts, ensures adherence to funder guidelines, and reviews contracts. Prior roles include Consultant in Energy, Poverty, and Gender at Stichting Nedworc STIP, where Anja advised on gender integration in national energy policies for the ECOWAS region, and various positions at ETC Foundation, focusing on project management, technical advisory services, and knowledge management for energy initiatives in Africa. Anja began their career as a Project Officer at ICCO and TaTEDO, and holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from Radboud University.
