Jim Newkirk

Jim Newkirk is the Chief Operating Officer at HK Solutions Group since October 2023, a company specializing in environmental services for industrial and municipal markets. Previously, Jim served as Senior Vice President for Industrial Water & Energy at Veolia North America, overseeing a $150 million P&L and a team of 600. Jim has extensive leadership experience from their tenure at Hydro International, where Jim was Managing Director for the Americas and also served on the Board of Directors, successfully navigating two private equity sales. Their career includes significant roles at Aegion Corporation, Veolia Energy, Veolia Water, Synagro, and Waste Management, demonstrating a consistent record of growth and operational excellence. Jim holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Marketing from Eastern Illinois University.
