Dane Thompson Aia

Dane Thompson AIA currently serves as Vice President and Project Architect at HKS, Inc., a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Dane worked as an Architect at BSA LifeStructures, and spent over a decade at Duda|Paine Architects, progressing to Senior Associate and Associate while taking on various responsibilities including Architectural Designer, Construction Administrator, and Model Shop Manager. Earlier experience includes a position as an Architectural Designer and Construction Administrator at North Carolina State University, along with participation in the ULI Competition team as Team Leader. Dane holds a Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University, a Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Savannah College of Art and Design. The educational background is complemented by a high school diploma in Visual Art from Northwest School of the Arts.
