Sheba Ross

Sheba Ross is the Global Practice Director, Cities & Communities & Principal at HKS, INC. Sheba has over 15 years of experience in the architecture and urban design industry. Sheba has worked on a variety of projects ranging from small-scale residential to large-scale mixed-use developments. Ross has a passion for creating healthy, sustainable, and equitable communities.

Ross started their career as an intern architect at BBA. Sheba then worked as a graphic designer at India Youth For Christ. In 2001, they transitioned to working as an architect at Ayyappan Associates. The following year, they moved to the Blanchard Group where they worked as a planner and urban designer. In 2004, Ross joined tvsdesign where they spent eight years working their way up to senior associate. During their time at tvsdesign, Ross worked on several high-profile projects, including the Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta BeltLine. In 2012, Ross left tvsdesign to join The Beck Group as a senior coordinator. After a brief stint at The Beck Group, Ross joined HKS, INC. in November of 2012.

Ross has won numerous awards for their work, including the AIA Georgia Young Architect Award, the AIA Georgia President’s Award, and the Atlanta Urban Design Commission Excellence in Urban Design Award.

Sheba Ross received their Master of Urban Design from the University of Colorado at Denver in the field of Architecture and Planning. Sheba also holds a B.Arch. from Anna University in the field of Architecture, as well as a Diploma in Advanced Architectural CADD from CADD Centre in Chennai.

They work with Mark A. Williams - Principal & Global Director of Venues, Rand Ekman - Chief Sustainability Officer & Principal, and Ann Kifer - Chief Marketing Officer & Principal. Sheba Ross reports to Dan Noble, President & CEO.
