Pepijn van Denderen

Pepijn van Denderen is an experienced professional in river engineering, currently serving as an advisor for rivers, coasts, and deltas at HKV lijn in water since March 2021. Previously, Pepijn held the position of postdoctoral researcher at the University of Twente from December 2014 to February 2021, where responsibilities included utilizing large-scale spatial datasets to analyze morphological changes in rivers. Pepijn's academic background includes a Ph.D. in river engineering, focusing on side channel dynamics from the University of Twente, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Delft University of Technology. Additionally, Pepijn has experience as a graduate student and intern at Deltares, specializing in bed level changes during floods and hydrodynamic model calibration.
