Jonghwi Park

Jonghwi Park is an academic leader specializing in innovation and education, currently serving as the Academic Programme Officer and Head of Innovation and Education at the United Nations University since October 2020. Prior to this role, Jonghwi held the position of Programme Specialist for ICT in Lifelong Learning at the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning, focusing on technical assistance and research for member states in Asia Pacific and Africa. From March 2011 to October 2019, Jonghwi served as Team Leader and Programme Specialist for ICT in Education at UNESCO, managing regional programs and advising ministries on ICT integration in education. Earlier experience includes positions as a Research Associate at McGill University, a Senior Instructional Designer at Digital Learning Institute, Inc., and a researcher in educational technology at Korea National Open University. Jonghwi Park holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from McGill University and a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Hanyang University.
